Magpie’s House

1. General

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and deliveries from Magpie’s House, located in the Netherlands, with Chamber of Commerce registration number 91573599.
1.2. By placing an order via our webshop, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1.3. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

2. Product Information

2.1. Our webshop sells vintage and second-hand items and furniture, each of which is unique.
2.2. Since these are pre-owned items, signs of wear and tear may be present. This will be described and shown in product photos where possible.
2.3. Colors may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings.

3. Prices

3.1. All prices include VAT (if applicable) and exclude shipping costs unless stated otherwise.
3.2. Shipping costs are clearly displayed during the checkout process.
3.3. Magpie’s House reserves the right to change prices. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.

4. Orders and Payment

4.1. Orders can be placed via the webshop at https://magpieshouse.com/?page_id=561
4.2. Payments can be made using the available payment methods, such as credit card and iDeal.
4.3. An order is only finalized once payment has been received.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1. Currently we ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Shipping costs vary by destination and are displayed during checkout.
5.2. Delivery times depend on the destination and will be indicated during checkout.
5.3. Magpie’s House is not responsible for delays caused by the delivery service.
5.4. We carefully package all items. Any damage during transport must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

6. Returns and Cancellations

6.1. Since our products are vintage and second-hand, the legal cooling-off period does not apply. Returns are only accepted in cases of damage not described in the product listing.
6.2. In cases of receiving products damaged or not described in the product listing, return requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving the product via hello@magpieshouse.com with photos of the damages.
6.3. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the product was delivered incorrectly or damaged.
6.4. Approved returns will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

7. Warranty

7.1. As our items are second-hand, no warranty is provided unless explicitly stated in the product description.
7.2. Any defects or imperfections will be clearly described in the product listing.

8. Liability

8.1. Magpie’s House is not liable for damages resulting from the misuse of products.
8.2. The maximum liability is limited to the invoice amount of the respective product.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. We respect the privacy of our customers and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Disputes

10.1. All agreements are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
10.2. Disputes will preferably be resolved amicably. If no resolution can be reached, disputes may be submitted to a competent court.
